Tsz Shan Monastery is committed to ensure that all personal data are handled in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. The Monastery have established appropriate procedures to ensure good practices on the acquisition, collection, recording, storage, disclosure, correction, erasure and communication of personal data kept by the Monastery on its volunteers.
1. Collection, Purpose and Use of Data
Volunteers are asked to provide the Monastery with personally-indentifiable information such as name, e-mail address and relevant volunteering information. This is necessary for the Monastery to record and arrange for Volunteer services.
Information collected is used for internal control, emergency contact, and enhancing the execution of the volunteer programme.
2. Transfer of Data
Generally, volunteer information will not be disclosed to any other party.
3. Access of Data
Volunteers have the right to request access to and correction of information about them held by the Monastery. Volunteers may request in writing to the Monastery to stop the use of their information.
